    So much better as a 6. When he has the play in front of him and he isn’t playing with his back to goal, he looks a very accomplished player.

    plays better in teh deeper role but i wouldnt feel comfortable with him in that deeper role against the vey best where he would possibly have a lot more defending to do.

    Today however he played very well

    That’s why I wouldn’t have signed Rodri - Gundogan’s spent 3 years filling gaps and deserved a permanent place in the team, and plays that role better than anybody in the league IMO. Understated masterclass every time.

    He can literally control and dominate a game as a number 6, that's his role.
