Sure, fernando could do a job? but his passing...I thought this is where gundogan would slot in but it seems like that would waste some of his ability going forward and I think it's working great with fernandinho there now. I agree. Seems like the perfect player to bring on if we need to keep possession and close the game out.

Just to think we had a midfield two of yaya and Fernando sometimes last season. Fernandinho, gundogan and silva is probably the most perfect midfield I can think. De bruyne swapping with either silva or gundogan for rotation, it gets even better!

Haha can't see him starting but depending on how the game is going he may get a few mins,more likely to see sane start I feel ..
