Such a sad day but perfect timing for the man who specialised in perfect timing. He leaves behind so many memories and also as a legend. My missus had the privilege of a personal phone call from him during the pandemic so we got to speak to him. The call lasted probably twenty minutes and he was exactly as expected. Polite, well mannered and the perfect gentleman. Thanks for everything Silky Ilkay. Good luck and best wishes for you and your family.

I hope Barca goes out of CL group stage 3rd time in a row. they did it last season, this season too.
we cant get them as they re in Pot 1 too, but they still can get some difficult groups.

Why did Sly Stone have to include the ' a reported 20m fee' when discussing us signing him back in 2016. Is the new narrative that these low fees we sometimes buy players for are now made up, especially when they do really well for us.

Don't be sad. If we really wanted to keep him, we would have made it happen.
We have a good history of letting players go when they have peaked. Just look at what happened to Aguero.
Gutted when he left, yet looked what followed. I assume our medical staff know how long players have etc.

We will be here soon with De Bruyne. The fans will want him to stay late into his forties. The City management will know when is the time...
