He wanted to go obviously considering his wages, got a guarantee in that if hes not registered hes getting his (full) pay anyway (+all his bonuses, match etc), could still play in CL though. That hasn't happened yet for Barca other than I think one player had to wait a week last season.

Big game player in recent years. Good luck at Barcelona...unless you play against us that is...
 
Sad day all round, but I can't begrudge him this move, good luck to him and his family, hopefully one day could come back as a coach In some capacity.
 
Gutted. Huge player for us and won us so many games and stepped up in big moments. Huge loss and hard to replace, we just have to evolve as we have done before. Truly gutting for him to leave thou, especially if it was we wouldn’t give him 2/3 years. Even if he declined in a year, it wouldn’t have been a problem to have him still with the squad for a couple of years and playing only a bit part (similar to Fernandinho)! Reckon he’ll play at the top for another 4-5 years. Far, far better than Rice or Kovacic, I think this one is a mistake… but I wish him well. He seems to be just a nice guy and an intelligent one too - a top, top midfielder (up there with David Silva)
 
Every season we have to say goodbye to a player who seems unique in one way or another. More problematic if we lose another of our gems, but, Pep will work his magic on Kovetic, and others will come through.
Goodbye and good luck to a player who's given us his best years and played a major part in getting us to the very top. He couldn't get higher really. What a great place to bow-out from.

Where are at different level now. All Barca fans are so excited to sign a Man City player. Tide has turned big time.

He will play. No Grealish top form kept him after injury but he will be playing centrally and KDB needs time to come back recovered.
 
Took me 2/3 seasons to ‘get’ Gundo i admit. But wow. What a players he has been for us.
