I'll be the first. Mancini out

Hughes was 4th in the league and in the Semi's and got the sack. Mancini has brought nothing to the club except a couple of his out of work mates.

1. He wasn't 4th in the league.

2. Perhaps that shows how highly the Sheik & Khaldoon regard the Carling Cup.

Tell me how this is relevant in the context of tonight's debacle?

Of course it's relevant because it's far more important.

danny, he could have put out a team of 11 players capable of getting us through tonight's game and a different 11 v Chelsea. That said, I grant you the injury situation is ridiculous and a partial excuse.

-- Wed Sep 22, 2010 11:24 pm --

The only reason others aren't saying this (me included) is because there is no-one else to replace him. He has made us shitter if anything, more boring football and we have no reason to believe he is going to get any better. No experience in English football and only won Italian trophies pretty much by default.

We're not Chelsea or United, we should be trying to look to win this trophy, he's a useless tosser but unfortunately changing managers in the past has never worked for us and there is no-one to replace him anyway.

Are people who keep saying the bit about his time in Italy taking the piss or do they actually seriously think that to be the case? If so it's quite astounding

I'm sorry but it needs saying, if you want Mancini out then you're a clown. Shout it out at Coms on Saturday and see what reaction you get.

I agree with you up to a point but I cannot understand what the man was thinking tonight.

I can understand why people are upset, even though Im not myself, but calling for Mancini to go is just embarrassing.

I know it's only one game and one result. but this says nothing for Mancini's judgement and he has made a rod for his own back, doing what he did tonight.
He has done us no favours with this and he has done himself no favours. It is unbelievable, It is impossible to defend his decisions tonight, no matter how highly you might rate him.

im not defending him and tactically im usually critical of him but to say he shoud be sacked after tongight is crazy

he took a risk that other managers (fergie , wenger) have taken before with the same results...sometimes risks like this work sometimes they dont

I want Mancini out.

As the title says, hes done nothing good for us at all, his tactics are stupid and his assistant manager is a little rent boy.

Im not going to revisit this page because I cant be arsed with some of your brown nosing bullshit comments.

Thank you

Quite easy to defend the team selection. We have Chelsea and Juventus coming in the next 6 days and Mancini didn't want to tire out/risk injury to important players in a lesser competition. He put out a side more than capable of beating West Brom (Baring in mind they also made 10 or so changes). Almost every other prem side did the same, it's not like Mancini was the only one making big changes.
