1. He wasn't 4th in the league.

2. Perhaps that shows how highly the Sheik & Khaldoon regard the Carling Cup.
He deserved sacking then. Seriously though it's just so frustrating. If he goes on and wins something i will love him forever. Some want to remember that 4th in the league isn't actually winning something though.

but 4th is our target for now.....it enables us to progress to the final stage (of world domination...mwah ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!! (while stoking white cat)

I agree with you up to a point but I cannot understand what the man was thinking tonight.

I can understand why people are upset, even though Im not myself, but calling for Mancini to go is just embarrassing.

Agreed. It is very annoying but it isn't a sackable offence. Most of my doubts re Manc revolve around his anxiety to be overly defensive against teams we would expect to beat. Nothing to do with tonight's game, I know, but unhelpful in terms of his reputation.

I don't care that much about the CC, though.

Bluebee - you're for example Lionel Messi. You're sitting at home at the end of the season. For some reason you want to move to the Premier League and you see that City have finished fouth but Arsenal finished 5th and won the League Cup. Where you going?

You're talking as if these are mutually exclusive achievements, but they aren't. What would stop us doing both.
