i'm embarrassed by my post count

there where a few good idea's touted by ric, and i think hiding post counts would be a good start

You mean the thread which got hundreds and hundreds of posts?
The one which several mods and the site owner said was a discussion which needed to happen!
The one which I wad asked to start by several people on the transfer forum?
The one which, dare I say it, seems to have made a change to the way people are communicating on the main forum?

But you didn't like it.....

i didn't personally attack you, i spoke my mind on what i thought you were upto. and like you, people agreed with me

i didn't go out to attack you, it's not what i do.. but if you feel that strongly about it then that's fine

I'd happily lose my post count right now (mods do your worst), it makes me feel like a prick when newer posters seeing my post count might expect some kind of coherence or authority which I can't and won't provide.

It also makes me look like a virgin.

we'll have to disagree on that, wum's will post no matter what. i do think it would make the place a little more of an even keel - even the option to opt out would work.
