funny as we've been looking at older players on loan for their experience and on the whole people have thought it was good for the squad and the youth players and yet people are really moaning about one we already have and has done a good job with limited appearances for us. beggars belief really. some people just aint happy unless they're unhappy, give it a rest. look what the likes of spurs and everton did to us and people would be happy if he ended up at those type of clubs for free? they'd take the piss all day long (on and off the pitch)

bellamy has been great in some games and wank in others and with the injury probs between the two of them why the hell not keep petrov, could always just use bellamy as a striker given robby has gone and RSC is our darren anderton in the making

I'd be happy to keep him but feel he's more likely to be used in the future as an impact sub when we're chasing games rather than an automatic starter. If he's happy with that then I'd be more than happy to see him get a new contract.

I genuinely cannot comprehend why anybody would be 'gutted' if one of our most dangerous attacking players is given a new contract for his good form this season, particularly when a whole host of Premier League clubs would be forming a queue to snap him up should we let him go.
