"Thank you for making the Etihad a fortress" at 1-0 was a terrible jinx. Granted it didn't matter, but imagine if Palace had equalised, it would have made a bad thing that much worse.

... and they can get rid of the advert for the MCFC sale. Red, white and black??
On the subject of advertising hoardings, I'd love to know how much the flashing lights and graphics affect the players. Any more and the club will have to issue a warning about strobing. Can't really imagine it helps with a shot on goal when there's an all-singing, all-dancing show going on behind and around the goal area (and I'm not referring to Southstanders!).

Of course you're not referring to the Southstanders, there was never an all dancing and definitely NOT all singing anywhere yesterday!! Do people over there only react when it is a 'big' team? :-)
