Agree, been an improvement on last season and im sure he will have learnt lessons from this year also, especially our away form. Few in few out in the summer, make us stronger next season. Already qaulified for group stages of CL with 4 games left.
We all know that if every game was fairly reffed we would have won the league already,but until he retires from them lot, they have a 15 point advantage every year

Another ignorant twat comes on here, cannot spell to save his life and in only his fourth post writes complete and utter garbage. The OP is correct and anyone with an ounce of intelligence would agree, especially recognising that no team in England has beaten us by more than one goal all season. That is an amazing statistic and should not be overlooked. As for Boy Blue, we didn't finish second last year. In fairness no we didn't, im well aware of that Mr lion. It was only goal difference though so 3rd 2nd its all the same.
The other guy is obviously not English so should lay off the spelling a bit

I wonder if he'd have thrown it away if he had been given over 200 million to spend (or the equivilant).
If you're going to make direct comparisons then at least do it right. On the plus side, we have made slight progress but in my opinion, with the players we have at our disposal (forget injuries and suspensions) we should have won this league at a canter and should have another trophy to go with it.

What annoys me most is this: A lot of our own support will use the argument that we have spent a huge amount of cash and should therefore expect to take the title this year. Put them in the same room as a rag though and a pound to a penny says they would fight our corner tooth and nail claiming quite rightly that they have done exactly the same in the past. You cant have it both ways...if your argument to a rag is that they have done the same then look at their record and see how they progressed. Wouldnt you be contradicting yourself to expect a speedier return on a similar investment? Some people just have no patience and I really think thats all it boils down to.
