I'm thinking it is corrupt

Decisions like last night's are the result of decades of concerted intimidation and criticism of referees by that wonderful knight of the realm, and the fact he has been allowed to get away with it time after time by a spineless FA.
Of course, referees should be man enough to stand up to the bullying old pisscan, but they are only human and this sort of stuff will creep into the sub-conscious when split second decisions need to be made.
After all, who would you rather upset? The powerful man who will rant and rave in your face and call you a cheat and an idiot on TV, or the quietly spoken fella who manages a middle of the road club like Fulham?
It is all quite deliberate, a policy honed over the decades to give himself even the slightest edge.
It is a form of cheating, in its own way as odious as Italy's Calciopoli scandal, but will never be widely accepted as such by a media whose individuals are fearful of being on the end of similar treatment themselves, banned from the club and the biggest games if they dare to wander from the party line.
While Shakin Bacon has been brilliant for the rags, he has been terrible for football.
That's exactly how I see it too. I don't buy into these claims of corruption or an anti-City conspiracy, but there is undoubtedly an inherent bias towards them twats that has been built up over the years.

On the reply it was a penalty, no doubt.

But I can understand why the ref fucked up.

No conspiracy. Stop it with this shit. it was a bad decision thats all.

This conspiracy shit is getting old.

its in our own hands and we will succeed

Someone needs to put together all these incidents and send it to newspapers, Radio 5 etc...they are happening week in week out at the moment.

They have and it makes us look silly

You do realise that some people on here were on rag cafe when you pillocks came up with using the name "Big" in your name as "massive" had become too obvious.

Anyway, you are fooling no one.

Run along raggy.

Have just watched it several times over and it is a totally 1000% nailed on penalty.

The ref is very close and has a totally unobstructed view.

Carrick's body language immediately after says it all. Guilty as fuck your honour.

Apart from that I saw several bookable incidents (by the rags) that went unpunished.

Even bacon, neville, ferdinand, carrick and evans have all come out and said it was a penalty.

The ref is either a cheat or a complete arsehole or both.

To be honest I dont think it will end there either. I think we're definitely due a bent sending off or two before the derby. Preferably Yaya and Kompany.

It says it all when they have to cheat to beat us. Only 3 points ahead even when they cheat. Daft cunts.

In the grand scheme of things I actually believe this sort of incident will help us in the long term. This season will have educated the owners and manager in 'how it goes' and they will be fucking seething (like us). This will only be inspirational and make them go out and get the very best players to ensure that the cheating never 'works' again.

Dropped points:

Fulham 2-2 - 2 nil up and WE fucked it up. We should have left with 3 points but we let them back in the game. Can only blame ourselves for this.

Liverpool 1-1 - Difficult game. An unfortunate own goal gave Liverpool their goal. Another debatable sending off for Balotelli didn't help. Draw probably a fair if not unlucky result.

Chelsea 1-2 - At 1 nil up we should have been given a penalty but the ref didn't give it, but then did give them a 'dodgy' penalty. Clichy sent off for two debatable yellows. Ref lost us the game. Clattenberg.

West Brom 0-0 - We had the chances to win the game, we didn't take them. The first of many teams to 'park the bus'. This result probably inspired a lot of other teams to do the same in the future.

Sunderland 0-1 - Another game of missed opportunities. We created enough to win the game but were very unlucky in front of goal. The scored a last minute off-side goal. Certainly robbed of 1 point dropped if not 3.

Everton 0-1 - A text book 'Park the Bus' performance from Everton. We created very little but should be beating teams like this. Our fault for the loss, performance just wasn't good enough.

Swansea 0-1 - Outplayed by a team who simply 'wanted it more'. No complaints.

Stoke 1-1 - They scored a 1 in a 100 go in goal, (which always seem to go in against us ala Wooney's shin overhead). Another disappointing performance from the ref who wasn't strong enough. Howard Webb.

The decisions that have gone against us has cost us games. The difference with United's sending off or penalties against them usually come when they are 3-0 up and cruising it. Some of the games we only have ourselves to blame, but we have lost points based on poor decisions from the officials. Add to this a load of bans and injuries to key first team members I feel we have been hard done by this season. We CAN still win this, but goes to show you need some LUCK to win this league.

It’s not corrupt. It’s a mixture of appalling referee standards coupled with not having confidence of giving a crucial decision against united.
It’s not going to change – that’s just the way it is.
There’s no point using all our energy complaining about it. I’m sure mancini will say something along the lines of “I hope referees are strong to make big decisions”. That’s all that needs to be done.
We either give up and say united are going to win the league no matter what we do because they get all the big decisions or we roll our sleeves up and win all our matches and make all those decisions irrelevant.

Re: I admit defeat .. we are being robbed !!

We're not being robbed at all. We've thrown it away ourselves with poor result after poor result away from home.

What started out looking like a record breaking season has eventually turned into a damp squib. Disappointing to say the least.

A blatant foul on Dzeko led directly to their deflected equaliser, widely accepted as a bad decision even on other team's sites.
Granted though, we should have been out of sight by then and had allowed them back into it through our own complacency. The second half at the Cottage was our worst 45 minutes of the season.
