I'm thinking it is corrupt

The guilt was written all over that little twats face last night when he walked off the pitch with his assistants, the sad thing is i think we all know that they well benefit from at least one more dodgy decision before the season is out,and we will more than likely be on the wrong end of one.

But like others say,we have to do more to win our games from here on in,and at least give ourselves a fighting chance come the derby in April,we have to step it up away from home,it's still only 3 points, and we still have the superior goal difference.

Dropped points:

Fulham 2-2 - 2 nil up and WE fucked it up. We should have left with 3 points but we let them back in the game. Can only blame ourselves for this.

Liverpool 1-1 - Difficult game. An unfortunate own goal gave Liverpool their goal. Another debatable sending off for Balotelli didn't help. Draw probably a fair if not unlucky result.

Chelsea 1-2 - At 1 nil up we should have been given a penalty but the ref didn't give it, but then did give them a 'dodgy' penalty. Clichy sent off for two debatable yellows. Ref lost us the game. Clattenberg.

West Brom 0-0 - We had the chances to win the game, we didn't take them. The first of many teams to 'park the bus'. This result probably inspired a lot of other teams to do the same in the future.

Sunderland 0-1 - Another game of missed opportunities. We created enough to win the game but were very unlucky in front of goal. The scored a last minute off-side goal. Certainly robbed of 1 point dropped if not 3.

Everton 0-1 - A text book 'Park the Bus' performance from Everton. We created very little but should be beating teams like this. Our fault for the loss, performance just wasn't good enough.

Swansea 0-1 - Outplayed by a team who simply 'wanted it more'. No complaints.

Stoke 1-1 - They scored a 1 in a 100 go in goal, (which always seem to go in against us ala Wooney's shin overhead). Another disappointing performance from the ref who wasn't strong enough. Howard Webb.

The decisions that have gone against us has cost us games. The difference with United's sending off or penalties against them usually come when they are 3-0 up and cruising it. Some of the games we only have ourselves to blame, but we have lost points based on poor decisions from the officials. Add to this a load of bans and injuries to key first team members I feel we have been hard done by this season. We CAN still win this, but goes to show you need some LUCK to win this league.

The one that probably really cost us was the Chelsea game although I can see why Clichy was sent off and I thought it was a penalty.

Liverpool away we were lucky to get a point.

West Brom we were poor and it set the tone for every away match following.

Sunderland whilst slightly offside goal, we pissed a point down the toilet with our ridiculous gung ho approach and I am still convinced that will be the point that costs us.

Everton,Swansea and Stoke we simply have not been good enough.

Can someone answer me this:

Why, when United get a favourable decision, is corruption brought up, yet when United get a bad decision against them, it isn't?

Referees make mistakes. They make them in United's favour sometimes, and sometimes against them. They also make them in City's favour sometimes.

Now, you might claim that United get more favourable decisions than anyone else. But I'd question that for two reasons:

1. You can't possibly know that
2. Naturally, as United's rivals, you will notice and remember favourable decisions more than you will decisions that have gone against us.

I would also throw a 3rd in, which some of you might relate to... the more time you spend in the opposition box, the more penalties you get. City topped the charts last year, for that very reason.

Maybe because the ration is about 10:1

Utd had one bad decision go against them this season (you were probably there) and they haven't shut up about it but are on the gifted receiving end in most matches.

Re: I admit defeat .. we are being robbed !!

If it was just a case of hoping Utd drop points then I'd be confident we can do it....however, when it also relies on us picking up maximum points, I hold little hope based on recent performances.

Matty - that might be your perception, but there's absolutely nothing to prove that whatsoever.

-- Tue Mar 27, 2012 8:52 am --

SWP's back - how do you reach 10:1?

Let's be honest, it's just your perception, based on nothing.

Completely agree. Nowt more to be said really.

Last season there were 5 matches where United players should have been sent off. They were level or behind in each of those five matches and ended up winning all of them.

Credit for their comebacks, and they may have even won those games with ten men.

Those 5 non red cards probably won them the title last season.

But they got a bad decision against Newcastle, so it all evens out in some peoples eyes.
