SEE what your saying, but the rag fested media will have to take note if we stuff them. Pride aside ushited are no pushovers, good team and they work very hard for each other, I see that work ethic within OUR TEAM developing though...

Its always good to beat the rags and the fact its at Wembley will rub salt into their wounds.
Also would make a great start to the season and give them a lift in confidence.

If we win it's a further demonstration of the shift in football power in manchester. If we lose it's just a preseason friendly where we were tweaking our structures. I'm happy to admit i'm a hypocrite like that

city 3 scum 1 and we get the ball rolling. Bacon face is spruiking bout wanting to keep the so called noisy neighbours quiet in this game, sorry but can somebody tell him he had his chance in last years semi. Too late bud we are in full tilt now heading towards the title!!!

Be nice to get a win under our belts. Sets a decent marker for the season, builds on where we left off from last season and instills confidence in the team and fans alike.

Apologies for the plethora of cliches in that statement.

Rest assured, I'll be over the moon if we win and sick as a parrot if we don't.

Regardless of the opponent we should aim to be victorious in every game we play as we have the players to do so, alongside the squad depth. The fact it's against United merely adds extra incentive to make another addition to our trophy cabinet. It sets down a marker for the coming season and we'll pick up where we left off.
