3rd time hopefully we'll win at Wembley this year
3rd time hopefully the scum will be beat at Wembley
3rd piece of silverware for us in 3 months!

Re: Important we beat united in CS because ?????....

and i'm sure its the same for them

We didn't win against them last season...let's do 'em now so that they know what to expect in the League. They'd better get used to it.

well we did you tit in the F.A cup semi final.

if we win i'll be spouting and bragging.

if we lose il be a hypocrite and just call it a friendly.

Re: Important we beat united in CS because ?????....

They will not want to lose twice to us at wembley in as many months...
If they win it was a good victory,if they lose it was only a friendly..

This is not a friendly in my books..

Re: Important we beat united in CS because ?????....

We have to show Ferguson that the tide has turned, the turning point was undoubtedly the Scholes tackle and consequent sending off. From that point on City became the dominant force and he can sit there like King Canute all he likes but there is no way he is keeping the blue tide from coming in!

Queue photooshop of slur Alex with a slipping barclays premiership crown on his head trying to keep the tide out.

...we can, and beating the hell out of rags will boost our players confidence sky high just before the Swansea game.

If we win we make a hige statement to the Sunday Supplement folk (for the comedy elelment alone would be great) but more importantly it gives our players another confidence boost.

If we draw no harm we are still confident and ready for the season ahead.

If we loose we are brought down to earth before any points are being dished out so not the end of the world.

All I hope for is no injuries and a decent day out :-)

Because it's always good to beat the Rags and it will be a good end to pre-season.

Win or lose by Sunday night I will have forgotten about the game and will be concentrating on Swansea on the first game of the season.
