Improving in the CL

don't know, but something needs to happen. if we don't improve we will struggle to sign elite players as they obviously want a realistic crack at CL.

Clinical finishing, maximum concentration and a few lucky breaks.

Believe that we actually belong there with the European giants. Too much farting around, afraid to assert ourselves.

What can we do to improve in this dreaded competition?
Speed up our passing. Have more penetration. Take our chances when they come, especially the ones right in front of goal like Sterling has, twice. And defend properly. Be more disciplined at 1-0 up (we did it against Chelsea, we didn't tonight). Have more belief (who look like we think we're beneath everyone we play, like we're some back door team making up the numbers who don't believe we'll do anything).

Running around the pitch instead of walking would be a start. Especially with the ball.

Baby steps. Then we can move on to passing the ball like it's not made of lead.

Provide some midfield resistance. Have someone in charge who learns from the previous year or game (that goes for both Mancini and Pelle). Take some fucking chances and stop acting like we're newbies. We've had 5 years to make a better stab at it and it's starting to get tiresome. Our group campaign last year, bar Munich last 5 minutes and Roma away was turgid shite throughout.

Look at the finalists every season and learn from them. How they got their tactics and mentality right reguarly. And why we dont.

CL is where small mistakes will be punished. In PL we get away with some many but here we dont.
