In a week where our "atmosphere" has been battered....

The holt end were loud for a section of the first half with that slow song they do once. The rest was mainly where were you when you were shit spasmodically, but it died out as the game went on.

like you cleavers i thought the atmosphere was the usual away crowd for us, pretty good

however five 'fans' next to me, all under twenty at a guess, arrived just after kick off

there were two girls and three lads, seemed a respectable bunch but they were falling over one another trying to get to their seats as they clearly couldn't hold their ale

for the next thirty minutes the lad next to me spent it looking away from the pitch at the upper tier shouting 'come on you c**ts, stand up, come on fucking sing'

they complained throughout the game how shit our fans are and there's no atmosphere and how embarrassing we were, oh the irony
this in between calling yaya a lazy c**t every time he touched the ball

i imagine if they had been posting that shit on here i'd have been banning them for being rag WUMs
one thing's right though, some of our 'fans' are shit

Hello mate,
Did we ruin your day yesterday? I must apologise for causing such unrest, having a few beers and not standing there quietly like a respectable cityzen. It was also very kind of you to keep your opinion to yourself until you were home as well thank you. You are the model cityzen I truly wish to be like. But also I would like to say that a) we are proper fans that have supported the club our whole lives. B) the atmosphere was poor yesterday, as it was at all home games, Newcastle, Hull and presumably Arsenal although I didn't attend. C) it is boring bastards like the lot of you on this forum which are the reason for it. Get your heads out of your arses, have a drink, enjoy yourselves, stand up, sing, and stop crying about those who want to and want other fans to. Cheers.

The witton arms beer tent got everyone in the mood and continued in the ground. Top day out !

Yep, it was a good set-up in there. I must say that we don't always take the atmosphere from the pubs into the ground at away games but yesterday we did and it was bouncing throughout. We do tend to create a good atmosphere at Villa away but that was probably a notch or two higher than the norm.

Are you sure mummy really let you out to play yesterday ?

I was in the upper tier near the back, where, as I stated, the atmosphere was great, none stop singing, a couple of new songs, and lots of great support, oh and we never sat down once, much like the section of the lower tier I could see.

I'd love to know what you think makes you a "proper fan", I suspect that you're no more a proper fan than anyone else, just a gobby kid, who probably can't take their drink (if you're even old enough to drink), who feels they can tell everyone else that their way is the only way. Someone with a lot to learn I imagine.

Thanks for joining though and calling everyone on here a boring bastard, you should go far.

1. if you were really the knob sat next to me yesterday, instead of some daft **** on here causing trouble, name the block and row we were both sat in
2. the only thing that ever ruins my day is either no beer on sale or we lose, you have a massive opinion of yourself if you ever thought you could do that
3. if it was you, and i doubt it very much, i see little in point in making my opinion known to a pissed up young knobhead
4. I attended Newcastle, Arsenal, Hull and Villa, the atmosphere was good at all of them, the only difference was yesterday i had a **** who couldn't hold his beer stood next to me. Just in case you hadn't noticed that was all the PL away games
5. If you have supported City your whole lives (sic) that must have been for the most eighteen years, come back when it's nearer fifty you part time twat
6. i did have a drink before the game, i always drink before a game but, unlike you who probably had a sneaky smell of an alcohopop, i am able to still cheer on my team without ripping the fans and the players whilst being incapable of walking

Yeah mate only 18 sorry I'll never comment again as I'm obviously too young for football, guess you have to be 50 to have an opinion these days, enjoy the season, hopefully you have less to cry about next time.
