............De Jong.............YAYA..............
.....Nasri.............Aguero............Silva.....
.....................Balotelli..........................

unbelievable raw talent and the average age is only 24, the futures blue :)

Thats not to mention players in reserve such as johnson, dzeko and milner.

this is the team i had in mind too......................awesome and unstopable.
Balo is best on the left of a front three. After seeing Nasri when Fabregas was out injured and against England at Wembley, his best position is central/attacking. Silva can roam and is great at finding space but has played a lot of games on the right of a front three. Aguero can play as a lone front man, he has for Atletico and Argentina.

So I'd say it would look more like:
--------de Jong--------Yaya--------
------------------Nasri--------------
---Silva----------------------Balo---
-----------------Aguero-------------

Nasri and Silva can interchange.

Neither do City, thankfully.

Corinthians' bluff will be called in the next 48 hours.

Other bidders will see to it.

As for Mancini's comments today, partly lead by the interviewer, but tellingly, if these two players were so in the bag, there is absolutely no way Mancini would be talking about them in such a candid manner.

He is simply exerting pressure on their respective clubs in a bid to do business, keep the pressure on other targets.

I'd have thought the opposite, that if Mancini was even taking time talking about these players then he must think we have a very good chance of landing them.

The way Tolmie explained it, seems right to me, I would even go a step further and say Mancinis comments not only put a bit pressure on the selling clubs, but also on the likes of Cook and Marwood to broker these deals. At the end of the day figures dont mean a jot to Mancini, he wants the players signed, end of.

Halleluja!

And Chelsea can be absolutely discounted re Tevez.

City spoke at some point to the Aguero camp last week, Mancini believes the time for talking is over.

Cue interview.

To be clear, Mancini has also gone on the record for other attempted targets in Sanchez and Lavezzi, again, nothing came of it.

You beat me to it, i was going to mention about Mancini's referance to Sanchez the other week.

As they say loose lips sink ships, i just hope this isn't one of them moments.................

City are being absolutely ripped apart by other clubs and in the media Tolm. Commenting on our transfer targets won't go down well at all. Already Wenger has blasted Bobby for this, that's just within the last hour.

The Sponsorship deal has realy infuriated a lot of them. Are we realy supposed to believe these clubs are so blind that they couldn't see what Our owner had planned for the last 3 years? Do they genuinely believe City will not have kept UEFA in the loop every step of the way ensuring this deal fell within the rules?

How much of this negative press do you think affects our players and detracts possible targets?

Sorry, but that's the truth.

You'll be happy to read, though, it was basically an analogy in terms of getting blues to calm down.

There is no fucking deal done. We want these two guys badly, the early spade work has been done.

Mancini now wants us to dig for victory.

Have to agree with you there Tolmie

I think the Sanchez deal was being worked on for months! Barcelona came in and all that spade work was for nothing......

I've learnt with past history that no deal is truly done till you see him on the city website!

Absolutely none of it affects players or possible targets. Nada.

City have dotted every I and crossed every T. UEFA know it, too. They will continue to pay lip-service to the smacked-arses, but it's a legal battle too far.

FFPR provides constraints to us in terms of being more creative in our spend, but for UEFA to run the risk of losing any constraints whatsoever, forget it.

The deal is worth a lot more than £400m over the course of the tie-up. It will be renegotiated at a suitable stage.

...when our rivals think they have actually played catch-up!
