I agree that last night's episode was harking back to better times, as this series just isn't as good as 1 and 2.

i dont even think there is one episode in the 1st 2 series that i disliked. i enjoyed last nights but the 2nd one at the gig was awful

It's just 6 Episodes again. Then the Film based in Malia or Tenerife, I think.
They should finish on a high rather than try and convince us Simon or Will are 6th Form Age when they're really in their Mid Twenties.
