Well, if thats the case Im glad I do not socialise with people like that, because myself or any of my freinds would dream of acting like that, and believe me my friends are serious, serious people-but they are gentlemen and not scrotes.

The whole point of a comedy like that to take a stereotype and exaggerate it .......
There are elements which will make it relevant but because it’s taken to the total extreme its funny.....

If your friends are anything like you ........ sexist narrow minded idiots is probably the best way to describe them – not gentleman.

Yeah but none of it is carried out with any sort of subtlety. Like those ideas could be funny if acted out properly, but the ideas are over-stated seemingly so even the biggest idiot can understand the joke.

None of the characters are really convicing either. Will can't decide whether he's Alan Partridge or David Mitchell.

Neil seems like a pretty bad parody of Trigger from Only Fools and Horses, except he somehow manages to be less funny. Again it seems like his stupidness is over-stated to appeal to the idiots.

Simon is bland and un-interesting, but i'm guessing that is intentional. Either way he doesn't really annoy me, so that's a good thing.

Jay would be funny again if everything wasn't over-stated. I guess it's his character and he's supposed to portray that bullshitter mate that everyone else has. But bullshitter mates are normally semi believable. Maybe the comedy is in the fact that his stories are so unbelivable, but imo it doesn't really work, because the programme is based around a believable 6th form experience that most or at least some of us have gone through.

Just my opinion though. Just quite shocked how nearly everyone seems to cream over it.

best episode of this series was last weeks, it was one of my favourites they've made aswell.
