I can confirm BMR is a flaming thundercunt.I tend to give abuse to posters in jest that I have met and actually like really.
Apart from @BlueMoonRisin’ of course, who is a complete twatcunt.
You have a point. There's a minority on here who just seem to want to take up a contrary position to what other posters say. Which is fine, nothing in the rules against that. The place would be boring (well, more boring) if *everyone had the same opinion on everything.* The problem is that said posters are very strident in the way they put their opinions across. Calm, rational debate seems beyond them. The way of the modern world, possibly. More angry folk around these days.
*it'd make modding a piece of piss, though!
"I've told you once"
RagMeh...
Bluemoon, for me, is somewhat better than it used to be.
Previously, if you posted criticism about any of our players, you were soon accused of supporting the Rags. And if you confronted such accusations using the exact same inflammatory language as the accusers, you'd be banned.
Currently this is less likely to happen - and many of the moderators prone to ban you are no longer active - and too, many of the most abrasive personalities have found themselves banned as well.
****!
Are you talking to me!?I took a break from Bluemoon and deleted my account as I felt that the forum was becoming more and more aggressive in terms of confrontation and language. It seems a common behaviour online but until the last year I felt like Bluemoon was not that bad unlike Twitter and other social media. However reading the forum these past few months, the trend seems to getting worse. Everyone is a C*nt or Twa*t and a lot of posts just seem downright aggressive be it to other posters or the subject matter (I can understand in some instances and I am not totally innocent either). Maybe I am an old fart and don't get the whole online thing but I wish that posters would take a breath and think "would I say this in this manner in real life?" before posting. I will stick around for a bit but my enjoyment of Bluemoon is decreasing by the day.
