Right, I had a seizure today. Not a big one but big enough to get my arse into gear and do summat about these headaches.
Cut a long story short  I'm laid up for the 3rd time this week in hospital. The pain is being caused by a bubble of air Inside my skull. It's not common but not dangerous either, and it's caused by swelling of the brain, then a rapid decline when I take my steroid tablet, thus trapping the air pocket.

Anyway they've got to keep an eye on me for 72 hours and keep me on oxygen whenever I'm not eating or drinking as this helps speed this up. And they did a ct scan aswell but not got the results from that.

At least it's being worked on though and fingers crossed put my mind at ease.

Fingers crossed for you, I hope they can help ease the pain you're in

Heart goes out to you mate! Your clearly a man of incredible courage battling through what's been thrown at you!

Puts everything into perspective and acts as an inspiration for all of us!

Hope everything goes well in the coming weeks!!

Cheers lads. one thing i've learned from it all is that this is not a death sentence. my life now is all about enjoyment, and i'm gonna fucking live. to be honest, i had a good life before, and if you asked, "any regrets", there would be a few, but they are purely on a monetary basis, anything else i'm glad i've done it.
to the person who asked about the christie, yeah thats where i'm having it.

Christie's is as good as it gets anywhere in the Uk. My Dad had bladder cancer in 2000 and is now in complete remission.

Just to let you know that Brain Tumour Research (<a class="postlink" href="http://www.braintumourresearch.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.braintumourresearch.org</a>) is now the official chosen charity of the Manchester City Supporters Club for the forthcoming season.

So, I'm giving you all advance notice that there will be lots of people with collection tins/buckets/whatever at the last game of the season (Norwich 19th May). Please try to give generously.

Let's help BTR try to help people like Danny, Carl etc.

cheers
Andy

The fundraising Charities do needs to be relevant to the people they're asking for donations etc. I imagine this has already been looked at - but auctions of signed City merchandise, use of a box or similar would easily see some money pledged.
