Pakistan blasphemy riots: Dozens arrested after Hindu teacher accused
Dozens of people have been arrested in Pakistan after a teenager accused his Hindu headteacher of blasphemy, sparking riots.
The principal, who owns the school, was accused of making comments about the Prophet Muhammad in Sindh province.
A large mob then allegedly attacked a Hindu temple, shops and the school in the town of Ghotki on Saturday.
The principal is now in custody facing blasphemy charges. If found guilty, he could face the death penalty.
The rioters have also been charged under the blasphemy act, according to BBC reporters in Pakistan. However, they face a lesser charge of attacking a temple which does not carry the possibility of a death sentence.

The strong have always taken from the weaker throughout history to blame Britain for Muslims and Hindu's slaughtering each other denies what's gone on for hundreds of years.Take a look at how a British company called the East India Company was given free reign to pillage the sub continents wealth for its wealthy shareholders. It disturbed the delicate balance of power by raising private armies. Imagine today if Lidl had its own army.

At the start of the 19th Century the Indian economy was bigger than Europe's, it had 23% of the worlds economy, by the time Britain left it was 3%
Is it our fault there is huge amounts of poverty?

No mate it isn't there was vast amounts of poverty before we arrived a very very small percentage held all the wealth,we weren't saints for sure but for the peasantry I doubt very much changed for the worse it couldn't really, they did end up with a railway system less thugs a judicial system and they couldn't chuck the missus on a bonfire just to prove we didn't get everything right. if they had 23% of the worlds economy in 1801 the East India Company must have been doing something right as well.A tricky connotation that.

it was before the East India company arrived. Britain was essentially substantially funded by India for 200 years.
India was not a backwards country, it was sophisticated and prosperous. It accounted for 25% of the worlds manufactured goods at a time Britain accounted for 3%. They had a large shipping fleet they used for trade not for war in conjunction with merchant bankers and the Mughal empire encompassed Afghanistan, Bengal, Pakistan, India. That empire collapsed under the rule of the East India company and started the internal rivalries that we still see today.
We raped the place and left it in tatters.
