Injuries 2024/25 | 8 players injured | Grealish, KDB & Walker unlikely to return until after international break

Was it obvious though? If it wasn't for an unprecedented 8 injuries at the same time this thread wouldn't exist and we would be moving along quite nicely I would think?

It was obvious to me and the majority of those on transfer forum, we were two players light, a centre forward and a central midfielder (possibly even two DM and AM)

Stop living in the past, we live in the now and right now we have barely anyone available. The promising thing however is some academy lads look ready to fill the void I hope so anyway

So you want the experts who have managed our players fitness and injuries over the last 5 years sacked because of a one off injury crisis. Ok, thankfully you’re fuck all to do with the running of the club.

I heard that said but before these injuries I don't think that would have been a huge problem.

Champions, record-breakers, treble winners.
Remind yourself of who we are and what we are before you castigate the board at a time when Rodri, Bobb, KDB, Grealish, Doku, Walker and now, possibly, Gvardiol and Savinho are injured. Only ten games into the PL, we have also been without Foden and Stones too. Take that talent out of any team in world football and it's a struggle, and one that nobody could have predicted. By the way, we are top of the league.

Good luck to the academy talent who may well get an unforeseen opportunity. Onward, blues.

it’s still a very strong starting 11 and more than enough to get a good result at bournmouth. We’re on the edge though and Kovacic and Gundo starting together is a worry.
