That Palmer guy looks talented. :)We need a Barca situation where one of the academy lads steps up. Or a couple, the academy has produced gems before.

Ffs txiki! What a disaster the summers lack of transfer activity was.
He’s not arsed. He’s leaving. He’s only still here to show the new guy how it all works at City. :-)Ffs txiki!
Couldn’t see a thread for this, so thought we needed one in the circumstances.
Liverpool?Separate thread? Behave. Every team / squad has injuries; we’re no different.
Not one team in the Prem wouldn’t swap their starting eleven with us this weekend. Not one. So quit the hyperbolic, woe-is-us fanny/wiping.
Some are claiming that there were players available we could buy that would be happy to sign and mostly sit on the bench until one of the established senior players picked up an injury—specifically Haaland, who would want to play every minute that he was fit—so I think it is fair to ask who these players were?that’s not really fair, the club has people who get paid to do the scouting etc. how should a ‘civilian’ know about the profiles and options?
We might not need to recall him ;-)How bad does it need to be before Kalvin is recalled.
Haaland would/will want to play every minute that he is fit. So whomever we signed to play understudy would have to be content with sitting on the bench most of the time, until such time as Haaland picked up an injury. They would get the odd game here and there, but with the squad we started off with, they wouldn’t have a clear path to substantial minutes. It’s a bit late now. City should have made that decision in the Summer to buy another forward. We had £100mill+ to buy a forward. We have Txiki and a massive scouting network. In all seriousness, who at City thought going into a new season with one striker, Haaland, was a sensible idea?
