Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

Was it obvious though? If it wasn't for an unprecedented 8 injuries at the same time this thread wouldn't exist and we would be moving along quite nicely I would think?

It was obvious to me and the majority of those on transfer forum, we were two players light, a centre forward and a central midfielder (possibly even two DM and AM)

Champions, record-breakers, treble winners.
Remind yourself of who we are and what we are before you castigate the board at a time when Rodri, Bobb, KDB, Grealish, Doku, Walker and now, possibly, Gvardiol and Savinho are injured. Only ten games into the PL, we have also been without Foden and Stones too. Take that talent out of any team in world football and it's a struggle, and one that nobody could have predicted. By the way, we are top of the league.

Good luck to the academy talent who may well get an unforeseen opportunity. Onward, blues.

it’s still a very strong starting 11 and more than enough to get a good result at bournmouth. We’re on the edge though and Kovacic and Gundo starting together is a worry.

Somewhat of a knee jerk reaction. We’ve done very well with injuries over the past few years and this is the first injury crises we’ve had since 19/20 season.

Nothing official on either apart from Pep saying Dias sometimes has problems. Until we here otherwise you have to assume they are fit.

Possibly. I think we got Gundogan as cover for midfield but he's now doing more than probably envisaged due to injuries. Sad to say but he's been woeful.
