Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

Wild assumptions being made here based based off absolutely nothing.

To me, all Pep is saying there is he appreciates the players who are pushing themselves to be available for him in a period where options are limited, that doesn't necessarily mean there's players who aren't doing that or he's having a dig at anybody currently unavailable.
I think you're probably right. But I think Pep is frustrated. Perhaps not at the players personally. But at the injuries and why the "healing process" isn't happening faster. As a coach, it can be frustrating. Coaches always want options. More than they probably need but they always want options. Right now Pep has few to none.

I heard a physio who once said it was the worst job at the club because he was always the one saying the players weren't ready. Must be a nightmare knowing the players aren't ready to play but the manager needs them.

Undoubtedly will be, as would anybody with a lengthy injury list but have to remember Pep asked for a small squad. we had space within the squad, the money and at least in my opinion, the need to bolster the squad in the summer and we chose not to with Pep saying he prefers smaller squads and that seemingly being the only legit reason why we didnt do more business then, so this is the result of what he wanted.

Seemed pretty obvious that the tackle came in on Savinho's ankle, but he didn't really feel much because of adrenaline. He went over to take the corner and felt the pain. Then when he looked down at his ankles one was bigger than the other so he went off so as to not make it worse. Fair enough imo.
