Strange that City have suffered more than Liverpool, despite a less strenuous period (Chelsea aside), when we were seemingly rotating and resting certain players.
Ironically, during the same period, Liverpool have played a Merseyside derby and two huge Champions League fixtures, yet somehow experienced their one bad injury in the only fixture where they rotated.
More worrying is City losing their biggest asset for such a long period, coinciding with Liverpool gathering momentum from an impressive transfer window, and late goals against Chelsea and Everton.
In an ideal world, the situation will soon reverse, but I remember people saying the same thing when Leicester won the League.
