If we can get a bit closer in the league, i’d be very tempted to go complete youth teams in the league cup, cl group stage once we qualify and fa cup

the schedule is far too intense

and then he will need his customary 6 games to get up to speed, by which time he will have picked up another injury,

Sergio needs to come off the bench until his fitness levels are where they should be, bring him on when he can exploit tiredness of the opposition after jesus(if fit) has run them ragged.

(The injured players) are getting better. Now we have the training session, so we will have an update. Gabriel is getting better, Nathan is getting better. (Sergio is) still not available to train with us but progressing.

Pep Guardiola: "Gabriel and Nathan are getting better, not Mendy. We will see, training this afternoon and how they feel. It's important they start to be with the team. It's good to have the amount of players. The more we have the better."

i agree, but only for this season, we should never of finished last season, it will fuck the players up, weve then got the euros ,so the players are really going to be fucked again next season

This six games is a bit of a myth , it might take him longer now after an injury like this but not before, he has to get match fit somehow , having said that i think pep played him too much on his latest return
