Losing Torres now for perhaps 3 months is a big blow despite his reduced workload to date this season.So if we underperform this season (i.e. we don't win the league), who will be to blame?
We had cash to spend. We spent £100m on Grealish and offered £125m+ for Kane. We lost our all-time record goalscorer. I don't get why you're not concerned that we didn't sign a striker?
If we sign Haaland in Jan or the Summer I'll eat my own words, but history says we don't normally enter bidding wars for that type of player.
Would love the likes of Gundy to score at the same rate as last season but somehow I don't see it this season.
Sterling needs to step up again for sure and repeat his best form the club consistently now and I know he can do it if he focuses full on.

Which striker would we have bought in the summer that was available? The only option to replace Sergio is Haaland and hopefully we will still get him. We dodged a bullet not getting Kane and Levy was taking the piss. There is no point buying players just for the sake of it. They have to be of the right quality to improve our squad. In the last ten years we have the best transfer record of any club in my view.Txiki has done nothing wrong?
So don't you think it was obvious we needed a new LB and CF in the summer? Don't you think we made a mistake in pursuing Kane for the entire summer only for it to fall through with a week or so before the window closed? Grealish is a class player, but did we really need him over the positions mentioned above? That's just this summer.
Our club is successful and yes, it's hard to say it's not 'well run', but there are still some areas of the club that are ran terribly (not necessarily Txiki's department though) e.g. supporter services.
