I disagree. There have been plenty of games our youngsters could have been brought on when we've been 2 or 3 goals up. Only Pep knows why he mostly chooses to bring on an established first teamer instead of giving a young player valuable first team minutes to gain confidence and experience.
Pep has to keep his 1st team - experienced - squad as happy as possible. In order to get them to accept rotation, and maybe a final 10/15 minutes in various games, he can't promote youngsters much. He puts them in during the early cup runs, which is the best they can expect. He can't really be criticised for it, as there's rarely been any evidence of internal disruption, and his success at his job in the last 5 / 6 years speaks for itself.

Can’t agree we are 4 or 5 players short, the squad has been fine but the Kane saga fucked us over to get an out and out striker. The Dippers do it a different way but Pep doesn’t play like they do and he’s not too bad at his job.

Also, Origi and Minamino? Cole Palmer is better than those two average players.

To bring in more players who would you get rid off? No point in having back ups that are not up to the task so quality players will cost fortunes in signing on fees and wages, FFP says that’s not possible. As for no natural left back, well we had one but he didn’t live up to expectations and there was no selling him due to his ongoing situation.

All Managers have to utilise the squad the best they can, ours is doing pretty well, no complaints from me.

We have 4 or 5 players less in the first team squad compared to all our rivals. Its a fact not an opinion, see below link. Its potentially catching up with us now, lets hope it doesn't cost us the league.

The squad clearly isnt fine as in the last few weeks alone we’ve had centre halfs at right back, midfielders at left back and a 36 year old midfielder at full back. Thats before we even get to the lack of strikers. There is a reason Klopp went and bought Jota/Dias/Konate/Minamino (only really losing Wijnaldum) to add to his squad which was already bigger than ours to begin with. 16 outfield players is not enough when going for all 4 trophies.

Origi might not be Van Basten. But has scored in a Champions League final and scored/assisted other vital goals for them which has delivered points. Cole palmer is a great talent but has not had anywhere near that kind of impact yet!! It kind of proves my point, a low importance squad player helping out when needed. Who do we have to get a goal when desperate?

We are the champions of England for a reason, because we know how to win a title and sadly that means you can't throw kids into the mix.

Experience is what is required, especially with 3 games to go.

Sunday was a magnificent result and performance considering the horrible defeat in Madrid, we won yesterday because of our incredible mental strength, don't under estimate how difficult that performance was.
I think there's a legitimate point about not giving the younger players some game time when games are won (as they have been many many times for us this season).
