he could possibly make bench against Blackburn he looks good on that video but don't want to rush him back for him just to get injured again need him match fit for spurs away Chelsea home and barca

He looks good. But I don't have a problem with Pellers holding him back for a week extra. It has worked with Kompany - he has been sensational since he returned.

Don't rush him back, just be ready for Spurs, and Chelsea games, which looks likely atm. Could probably play Cardiff, second leg of semi or next round of FA cup (if we make it). Will be great to have one of the world's best players back in the team.

Agree - Spurs game is a good target. But why not have him play a little off the bench in a couple of games leading up to that if he is fully fit? Will get him back integrated with the team and our offence.

We can't risk him losing his goal scoring form though. When he is back, he needs to be completely match fit. I never like the idea of a player finding fitness over 1-2 months as a sub. It can hurt them mentally.

Pellegrini confirmed at today's press conference that he could be back next week, as originally reported here:

I'll bet Blackburn had wished they'd not got the draw now, or that West Ham hadn't bothered to keep us down to just six
