AgreedGreat news about Laporte being back in training.
It's not until he's missing that you realise how important he is to the team. We move the ball a lot quicker when he's there and the rest of the team functions much better as a result. We've been scoring goals but aside from Haaland the attack has been a bit slow and predictable in my opinion, and I think a lot of that is down to how much longer we take to build up from the back without Laporte.
Disagree,Stones and Dias is the best partnership (although the new boy may have a say in that)Agreed
Kyle?Stones was also pictured in training.
Thank God he won't be straying into midfield against Dortmund then. All trained other than Walker.
thats how pep wants him to play ...... but thats another storyThank God he won't be straying into midfield against Dortmund then.
I also think that Stones is vital for quick build-ups. It was noticeable how much slower we were getting forward with Ake, though he is arguably better defensively than Laporte and Stones. Akanji is supposed to be very strong at bringing the ball out as well. It's nice to have so many options for different opponents.Great news about Laporte being back in training.
