Ake very rarely missed a game before he came to City. Had a hamstring injury late in his last season with Bournemouth but before that he played every week for 3 or 4 seasons.

It probably hasn't helped at City that he hasn't played consistently. Maybe his injury record improves now he plays every week?
Hopefully your right,we will find out soon lol! but whatever happens we will manage .

I think rotation is detrimental both individually and collectively, but then there is also the extra games and squad contentment factor at a club like ours.

You say that as if it’s a problem.
Most teams have 4 for that reason.
add to that all those who complain about not having a settled defence I cannot accept anyone arguing that there is an issue with us having a few injured defenders

Generally, we have a great squad. Think we are a bit light in defence now, at least with regard to experienced players. With Stones out injured, we have 5 experienced players for 4 defensive positions in February, and we play every 3 days. Let's hope that we won't have other injuries and that Rico and Gomez will live up to the expectations.
