Pep has just said Walker is getting better and he wasn't sure if he would play tomorrow. I suspect Walker will be not be risked until Tuesday, same with Stones.

Breaking: John Stones is suffering from 'niggles', and like Nathan Ake, a full assessment will be made tomorrow ahead of Watford (H), confirms Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola on whether Kyle Walker will be available vs Watford: "We'll see tomorrow.

Jack Gaughan said on 9320 podcast that Cugat had recommended he didn’t need surgery.

On one hand that is good news but on the other…I don’t think he’s seeing a specialist like Cugat for diagnosis unless there is something pretty wrong with that ankle.
That’s true and yet it seems like Pep is saying that Walker has a chance of playing tomorrow?

From what I've heard from within the club, he won't be seen again this season, unfortunately.
Hope the info is wrong but it is normally reliable
I've a coaching contact in the club, he said the treatments and exercises that he's undergoing would signal bad news for this season.

maybe it's just my tin-hat but with so few yet important matches left in the season, a player could be without a foot and I'd say "we'll see how he feels tomorrow". From a competitive standpoint I don't think there's a need to be ruling anyone out long-term.

Great news if we get him back on the pitch soon.
Losing Walker for the season would be a massive blow, Chappie had me worried on here the other night.

The only possible reason Pep might have to say nothing about Walker's injury IF it is bad would be to not help Madrid with their tactics and to not encourage Liverpool.

But I very much doubt that journalists wouldn't know and write anything IF Walker's injury were really bad, i.e if he were to miss at least 3-4 weeks.

I must have got that wrong I thought Cugat was talking about Palmer when he said that?
