Inside Manchester City ITV4

Thought Dzeko came across as a nice down to earth bloke. Just because he earns £120K+ p.w. Doesnt mean he should live in a cheshire mansion just because "he can" but prefers to live in a flat because he lives alone couldn't see many of the top English players doing that! MDM also seems a nice lad and I hope he does well before going to New York. And also Txixi seems to know his onions, we need people like him and soriano to be a top club.

Considering the new holistic happiness behind the scenes, why is everybody so fucking miserable ?

I'm not sure they picked everyone involved in this based on personality. It's almost like a contest to see who could be least interesting.

Something really likeable about Demichelis though.

I agree, seems a real nice bloke

Can't have been that. James Milner barely featured.

Just watched the Ian Wright documentary after it, Jesus that is some powerful stuff, lots of stuff in the air as well because my eyes are watering.

Loved it, don't know if it's just me or did anyone else pull there face at the fact that the MCFC school set contains a red colouring pencil? Took me back to bluemoon rising

Has anyone said how ridiculously over the top the music was? My wife writes a lot of different types of piano music and she couldn't believe that such a nothing show had such emotive music. It really was ott.
Propaganda!

Was a class scene that in BMR. Proper schooling from early age love to see that kind of stuff.

Looking forward to it.

Does anyone remember that time City featured on 'Nationwide', an old BBC programme? I seem to recall it was a time of some optimism under Swales, but surprise, surprise, it ended in tears. I can't recall the exact year, sometime in the 1970s, or what the drama was. Or am I dreaming this?

No you're not dreaming this Ernie. It was during the 1977-78 season when the Nationwide was given full access. If I remember correctly it was a weekly slot and I remember Colin Bell being filmed running up and down streets in Manchester to regain fitness after his knee injury, although that could have been on 'Kick Off'.

I sent for a brochure that accompanied this programme - sure its up in my loft................ weekend quest coming on.........

The programme was called "Saturday s Heroes". And featured the team training in Cheadle at what is now Cheadle Town

Loved it. Couldn't help but be impressed by the whole set-up, professionalism and sense of drive and ambition behind the scenes.

Shame Shazza uses Canon rather than Nikon, but other than that ......... #motivating
