Was kind of expecting a better performance against the European Champions "B" tea though.

They have 4 first teamers. We have 5 when you consider who we have to come back.

Fair enough but what is most worrying is that all through this tour we have played defensive with 3 center mids who are not attacking. i was hoping these games would be used to drill the our planned system in to all the squad. if this is the system we are going to use then i see a dull and maybe troubling season ahead.

if its not bad enough we started with 3 defensive midfielders, when one gets sent off we take off a striker and bring on a defender? dont see why we're are setting up so defensively for a friendly......

No, he said that "the players" were more interested in a scrap than football. And in fairness, he's right - Pandev, Obinna, Materazzi all have been more interested in escalating arguments than kicking the ball so far (except for Obinna's goal, obviously).

Fair enough, still doing my head in though don't think hes had a single positive thing to say about anything regarding us, off or on the pitch.

That's because we haven't done a single positive thing yet.
FFS I've seen kids in the park play better than us this pre-season

we are playing like shit. shitty ass lineup, i knew this was going to happen.
jo, vieria, zabaleta, all useless. zabaleta sucked at RB and DM. i thought he would be a usefull sub, but now i see he isnt even good enough for our bench.

jo
vieria
zabaleta

To be honest we came into this game playing for a 0-0. What kind of mindset is that? I hope in the second half we go for it a bit and try and create some chances.

Aside from playing Jo, considering this is a friendly for trying out formations and players I don't think we went into the game looking for a draw. Our players haven't been chasing balls like theirs have but then I'm kind of reluctantly accepting that we never do for some reason. Aside from that, when we've gotten the ball we've been quite fast-paced and we've gotten the ball to the final third several times. We've had several chances to score already, and if we had Inter's ability to pass the ball through the back four we could have done much better. I really don't think we're just sitting behind the ball on this one. In fact if you check out when the ball is around our penalty area and it switches possession a couple of times, we are often caught weak for a few seconds because our midfield has already started to press forward expecting a pass forward.

and the ref's spoilt the game.....

Could easily have asked our bench to make a sub (why I don't know, it was barely a foul), but then the paying public wouldn't have got to see his red card delivery.

And thats what they turned up for surely?
