It's a matter of opinion, like most things,I realize your favourite ones are artistic and I think they track the movements of stars, time lapse ?
I like photos that have a bit of a story in the reality of life.
Art does nothing really for me. The one's I posted Sinatra and Anfield are informative and revealing, snapshots in time that say something. A story even.
But it's all subjective.
Art. This deserves a response that may elude me at this time of the evening but I think it is a really important so I will try my best
I love the Sinatra shot. It shows an icon in a light that you don't tend to see. The Anfield ones are visceral and evocative. I think that you may have pigeonholed my view which I don't mind but I think doesn't reflect my opinion. There are so many "genres" of photography.
Whilst you may perceive that I am drawn to a certain style that is possibly because on an internet forum I cannot convey anything approaching the breadth of my interests.
Funnily enough if I were to be asked I would say that arty would be quite low on the list. Perceptions eh?
I really love (that's probably the wrong term) photo journalism. Don Mcullin's work is breathtaking. But then again you have landscapes, nature, architectural, candid, portraiture and many others that the Rioja is making me forget about!
I do love the astronomy shots too, how can you not be amazed. Also I guess I like pictures that I cannot reproduce.
Going back to the candid celeb shots, I adore them too.
This is a thread that I am thoroughly enjoying, despite being a boring ****.
