International Games | 12th - 19th November '25

At work left it at 2/0.
What a finish to the game. Had a glorious chance with McTominay but a great save from their Keeper. In the end it doesn’t matter. All down to Tuesday at Hampden and Scotland need to win.

True story. My eldest daughter was born 23rd of June 2008 and that night was the last game we played in a World Cup. Three woman in Labour Paisley Maternity and three expectant fathers watching Scotland v Morocco. Always tell her she’s been a jinx but maybe the jinx is coming to an end

I think you've just jinxed your unjinx

Hope springs eternal.

“We’re on our way with Ally’s army!”

Can they get the win they need?
I’ll be honest. I’ve no idea how good , bad or indifferent Denmark are.

I’ve no real interest in international football but I got a wee bit caught up in it tonight. Hopefully they do it as it’s been such a long time since they were there

Bizarre draw for Denmark againt Belarus saves the Scots, all to play for at Hampden.

Because Amazon have the PPV, there aren't any official highlights unless you pay for that.

Cherki comp v Ukraine here:

Norway wasn't even televised in the UK, so other means were required.

There are some highlights of both on Youtube, not official but on there.

With regards to our lads:
Bobb - Started brightly in the opening 20mins and then didn't really do much.
Haaland - Solid and clinical as usual.
Cherki - Decent, a lot of his final passes didn't come off but created a lot of chances.
Doku - Very good, created loads of chances but the other Belgium attackers couldn't finish them.

Assume you've seen the England lads.

Didn't watch Khusanov, Gvardiol, Bernardo, Dias or Ait Nouri but have read how they did, heard Khusanov was solid and Gvardiol scored.

Ahh top stuff, appreciate you explaining (we've tried to watch norway highlights on YouTube but they either only show the players warming up or its some kid playing fifa)!

Reading the comments on that cherki vid he sounds like he's taken some stick in the French press for his performance. Looks like there is some tasty stuff there to me and a lot of it was his team mates letting him down

I watched Cherki and thought he was very good but his teammates left him down sometimes. Just not on his wavelength except for Mbappe, who seemed to enjoy playing with him. Once he gets in sync with his City teammates, he will be incredible. His talent is off the scale.

He has to take some of the blame for playing, if he's not 100% he should say.
Agree but Brazilians seem even more passionate about playing for their country than other nations and also it is World Cup year. It is infuriating.

I think Stones has done similar in the past as well for England, just seems bizarre that he'd take a risk in a friendly for Brazil. Maybe trying to lock down his position but I would have thought he's a starter for Brazil, although I guess Marquinhos and Militao are valid competition.

So Gabriel picked up a knock in Brazil training, had to train separately and still they played him tonight. He's picked up an adductor injury in the match and is likely out until next year. All for a friendly match against Senegal.

Clubs (who pay the wages after all) really should have the final say on these matters if a player is at risk of a serious layoff.
Thats a huge blow to the Goons. I agree, clubs should have final say when it comes to injured players on international duty.

Hungary v Ireland at 2pm for a WC Playoff spot.

(Potentially automatic qualification if Portugal get beat off of Armenia and the goal difference swings). That's unlikely though.
