If the rags gave him freedom to be a box to box player like he does for Scotland instead of insisting he’s a sitting midfielder then he wouldn’t be ridiculed at club level. Once it was given it was never going to be overturned . I doubt had it not been given var would have given itThe commentators complaining that he went down easily, while conceding that there was enough contact for it not to be overturned by VAR. They did also acknowledge that he should have had a penalty a few minutes earlier.
