International Matches | 15th - 22nd November 2023

Looks like there’ll be a few goals now.

Might have to switch games. The drum is annoying me and I don’t particularly want to watch the pensioner stat pad
Unfortunately, said pensioner is still better than a lot of players in finding the back of the net.

I thought I'd tune in and see Nunes playing for Portugal, but he's not in the 24 and on checking I see he has only been in one squad since the World Cup.

In Saudi Arabia and Lichtenstein, yeah.

Why do the drummers play the same rhythms as each other? Even a bit of variety would help.

I guess so.

To annoy everyone? I believe it works if that’s what they’re going for.

Feels like they’ve turned down the volume on the drums on my stream…no, no, I said that and I can hear it again.

2 goals now

Muscle injury, apparently. We need to have words with Chelsea about the padding on their seats...
Haha. I guess muscle injuries are more common when you change your training routine and don’t play as much.

He might have wanted to stay and had individual coaching time with Pep too. It’d be more useful than playing half an hour against Lichtenstein and Iceland.

Presumably he picked up the injury last Tuesday; body probably in shock after playing ninety minutes. I wondered why he never came on against Chelsea, particularly when our midfield was as open as the UK’s borders (props Suella).

I posted in the matchday thread after about 8 minutes that we were too open.

When we went 3-2 up, I thought Pep’d bring on Kovacic and Lewis and pass them to death.

He went full Keegan instead.

it was the complete antithesis of the last two League encounters there.

I suppose he had to have Nunes in the squad even if he was already injured, either to keep Pochettino guessing or to prevent the authorities fining us for having three goalkeepers on the bench!
