He would also have had a few assists in the UCL/cup comps if Haaland or the forward line finished a chance he created.True, it's also the case that Hernandez is playing with better players tonight than he usually does, and Ake is playing with inferior players than he normally does (Taylor and Simons have looked lost). Nonetheless, at the international level and Champions League level, Ake's level in the final third becomes more of a concern.
Nonetheless, your concern makes sense. However, that’s where others also need to step up. He does the job of keeping things tight on his side so I would like the creative players to equally step up.
