I hope that fat fecker breaks it against San Marino, to show how that record means feck all.
His record against Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, France, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain combined is 20 games, 5 goals, as Englands main striker thats terrible and if you include the games against Belgium and Chile in the last couple of years its 22 games, 5 goals.
Only shown up in 1 major tournament Euro 2004. Cost us probably our best chance at a world cup (2006) in years with a fucking silly challenge. Doesn't deserve the plaudits.

Time to implement a pre qualifying stage. Andorra, San Marino, Lichtenstein etc are just fodder. Waste of time having so many no hoped qualifying games.

Teams like San Marino should purposely have a shit pitch, only way they stand a remote chance, although against the best teams they have no chance either way.
