International Matches | 7th Sept '23 - 13th Sept '23

9 out of our 14 international call ups still at risk - Haaland, Rodri, Doku, Akanji & Alvarez along with the three England lads today plus Ederson tomorrow. Ake, Dias, Bernardo & Gvardiol set to return unscathed & Kovacic unused (crocked? - hopefully not.)

kova was benched again because he still felt tension or whatever it is, apparently he was advised to have an mri scan.

Haaland, Alvarez, Doku, Akanji, Rodri and the 3 English lads all starting tonight.

Alvarez has the hardest assignment playing at altitude in Bolivia.

Everytime I see Enzo playing for Argentina I realize how much of a waste was him going to Chelsea. If City would have bought him, he would be considered the undisputed best midfielder in the World right now.

Having only really seen him in the World Cup and for Chelsea, he doesn’t look like an amazing player as of yet.

He doesn’t dictate play and he does score or create much.

He has lots of touches of the ball, without doing enough with it. So far, for me.

Doku got a 9.10 rating from whoscored on only 1 assist, shows you how relentless his attacks were - the whole 90m, too. Really drove Estonia nutz. It was a great confidence-building day of training for him. At the final whistle he just bent over and rested on his knees, so gasssssssed.
