[Bembeltown]

On day 7 of my 'invasion'. Munich was great and I've been to Frankfurt today for their Europa league game. Massive thanks to bluemoons very own Bembeltown for sorting that. Off to Berlin tomorrow to end what has been an excellent (and costly) trip.

If anyone gets the chance to visit Germany for a bundesliga game, I can't recommend it enough.

You are more than welcome and as I told you yesterday that's what I really like about Bluemoon! People from different countries, supporting different clubs still somehow manage to work together as we all share the love for Football and help each other out. :)

Thanks for bringing the City scarf over as well! Finally able to represent the sky blue in the Frankfurt area!

They wouldn't let us in - got turned away from the main entrance! Apparently there's a private function on!

We got there about 10.00 on Monday night ,we were let in by a poe faced german and told to go downstairs, so we did and found a few blues, had a sing song and then asked to leave.


" For you Tommy, zee drinking is over"

Found out the next day that a lot of blues had been thrown out a bit earlier and the staff were not happy with any of us.

It was the wrong Augustiner. We had a similar experience in there on Monday. The place with the cellar was more of a restaurant and they had a carol service going on in the back.

The Augustiner in the town centre was a totally different environment where we were made very welcome - except no banging on tables or bringing in stolen babies.

That would explane things then.

First time on Spikes overnight trip, excellent organisation and Spikes is a star

Great trip, only just beginning to feel human again. The augustiner monday night was class and then killians (ed kellys?) afterwards was even better. My hand is fucked from banging the table in the augustiner, met some good lads whose names i cant remember. Im the guy from inverness incase anyone can remember.

was there two augustiners? because the first one i went in (under ground) was morbid, but later in the night was one with a conga and every one on tables me included (the nob in the grey jacket and no top and a fur coat at one point) think the bar staff got a bit pissed off with us.

then kennedys i was turned away at first then i went back without me coat on and got in got a pint then went on kareoke singing hey jude..

Saw that - think you were drowned out somewhat by all us at the tables - pity the poor locals who'd reserved tables for food that night - sat in the middle of a raucous bunch of city fans
