BTW - I understand yesterday was GDM's birthday. Happy Birthday, mate. You should have let us know at the time, we could have had a toast.

You were quite possibly the only person in Munich that didn't fekkin know!

Still in Munich here ready to leave hotel.flight at 4.50.another top trip,in Ned kellys bar last night in marienplatts, about 10 city fans left, place was packed again, thought it would have been empty now majority of city fans are back home.fantastic stadium, just the wrong colour!

Got back home yesterday evening. Has to be up there as arguably the best European away trip ever and that's even before the match is taken into account, which was just the icing on the cake really.

Only got back to our hotel at about 5.30 yesterday morning and it would've been later than that if the inconsiderate feckers at the Café Schiller hadn't closed the bar at around 4.45 am! As such, I wasn't in the best of places yesterday. Serious beer sweats on the plane and when I got home lol.

Highlights of the trip are too numerous to mention but the Augustiner Beer Hall on the day of the game and the pre and post-match piss up in Ned Kelly's/Killians stood out. I'm not normally a fan of drinking in Irish theme pubs abroad but as it was full of blues and the atmosphere was rocking it didn't really matter (plus after the game, most of the German pubs had closed so there wasn't really many drinking choices available) Café Schiller was bouncing too on both nights but Bayern Blade was right about the beer in there - it was rank!

In Ned kellys bar before the game and a Bayern fan was singing the goater song, couldn't believe he knows tommy Muir from cheadle, big Alex his name.

What a top top trip. Back home and a superb time. Germans were superb, the city was superb and our city were even better.

Ohhhhhhhh Pablo Zabaleta.....

He is the fuckin man
He is an Argentinian
He's harder than Jap Stam (Jap Stam)
He plays in blue & white
For Pellegrini's men
And when win we the league
We'lllllllll Sing This Song Again
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Shows how pissed I was - I thought the first line was "He is a fucking Manc"! Which he isn't of course, but I consider him to be an adopted Mancunian so didn't think it was particularly odd singing that.

Ha ha, that's quality mate!
Doesn't half sound strange though,a city song sung by a German, reckon tommy taught him a few songs.

lets see how much Munich made off the stadium cards, ill start, I've got 2 euros left on mine
