Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

Not trolling at all. Just think it smacks of an organisation not taking all the steps it could / should have done to protect highly confidential data. Which is what you allude to in your last paragraph. If it were a case with irrefutable proof of wrongdoing the CPS would surely have granted a day in court. Maybe taking the payment from Liverpool spared everyone’s blushes.
Or maybe we were pressured by the premier league who wanted to avoid bad publicity.
What are your thoughts now about corruption within football.

Why has there not been an investigation ? They don’t need a complaining party so the payment should be of no consequence this issue had been in the news they should be looking into it off there own back and at great lengths given the money reputation public interest etc involved in the league and clubs

Have any city fans made a complaint on the clubs behalf ? Should we ?

You get very angry don’t you? Like a kid who wants to be heard but keeps on yapping without ever really saying anything that’s worth hearing. Corruption, hacking, hacking, corruption, and yet, not a dickie bird of anything worthy of note.
Angry? Lol. Another opinion based on no facts whatsoever.

I’ve posted some information about IT security as I have some experience in the field, so if you think there’s nothing of note in my post, that’s fine & that’s your opinion, although not sure what the fairies tell you is a particularly valid opinion.

My opinion on hacking is based of facts, not just what I think. I don’t profess to be an IT security expert & maybe our systems could have been tighter, which nobody will know unless they worked in the team which looked after this.

What’s your opinion that we weren’t hacked, we just had shit security based on?

What about when the Pentagon gets breached, which it has. Was that just shit security too, or were they hacked? Or maybe when one of the big financial institutions gets breached, is that shit security or have they been hacked?

Oh & even if a company has no IT security whatsoever & their systems are illegally penetrated (which simply means by someone without authorised access) this is what’s know in the English speaking world as hacking.

Ps Definition of hacking: the gaining of unauthorized access to data in a system or computer, so no matter what you say, we were hacked. Not an opinion, a fact

You are Donald Trump & I claim my £5

Been looking at someone's post history:

  • Corruption in English football, most City fans are just paranoid and he is the big man for saying otherwise on their claims.
  • He reluctantly accepts it was the right call under the current laws but Rodri should have been deemed offside because he "rushed Mings". He can see why Villa fans are pissed off.
  • Liverpool hacking City was City's own damn fault, nothing to see here. He can't see why City fans are so pissed off about it.
Who is it? (No it's not Klopp)
Rick Parry? Pinocchio? Walter Mitty? Donald Trump? David Gill? Stan Collymore? The Troll Under The Bridge? Kim Jong-un? Helen Keller? Silvio Berlusconi? Lance Armstrong? David Irving?

Am I close? Gotto be one of those surely?

We agreed to a £1 mill pay off so a done & dusted pal

But is it ? Surely the police still have the powers to investigate and charge. Otherwise the baddies (liverpool) can just carry on hacking every clubs computer system and than just pay them of when they get found out !. That cant be right, or is it a case the police have to wait till the victim makes a complaint even though the police know the baddies are hacking/ braking the law ?.
The police dont wait for someone to report a speeding motorist, or someone has a cannabis farm, the police are looking for them, ok sometimes with a tip off. Why is it different with hacking ? Why wait to be told , theres enough out in the public domain now surly the police could investigate regardless of City excepting hush money. The fact liverpool paid 1m to City in my eyes is an admission of guilt.
I dont see how you can operate above the law just because no one reports you. It's in our accounts I think that City received the payment, so it must be in liverpool accounts that they paid us.
If it's not in liverpool accounts but in ours someone is being clever with their book keeping !

Have you not heard about GMP not investigating incidents in the press recently;)

Honestly, no idea mate. I’m surprised the ICO haven’t looked into it also

True ! But this story could blow liverpool out of the water and prove corruption. They must be at least one investigating journalist out there who would want this world scoop. Even one of the papers must want it or a tv company.

I just dont understand how liverpool can pay hush money to everyone to stop they wrong doing coming out.

The premiership surely dont want this going on in their league it would ruin it if they knew a out it and turned a blind eye. If the premier league know about they are just as guilty. The owners of liverpool have a history of breaking the rules/laws with the other teams they own so it's not unreasonable to think their football club could do it as well

I think City were wrong to take hush money as City do everything correctly as CAS proved. It does seem odd City agreed to it.

This is s massive story and it needs investigating.

If it turns out liverpool are innocent they have nothing to hide they should welcome an investigation, not be paying hush money for something they didnt do !

Am pretty sure the relevant authorities could overrule the FA in the settlement and open a criminal case if they felt it necessary to be honest. I would imagine they were never told about the hacking and the premier league wouldn’t have wanted the bad exposure to one of its biggest clubs so will have done a deal to keep it hush. If something else has cropped up then the premier league would be powerless to stop a full blown investigation by the relevant authorities

Didn’t Samuel report on it but not a single other media outlet picked it up & ran with it?

Might be wrong as cba checking?

They are guilty. City have evidence which proves this. Hackers, either professional or socially engineered like the City breach, leave a footprint. There’s a load of Scouse size 10’s all over our network
