Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

Has either club confirmed what the £1m payoff was for or is it only journalists saying this?

Seeing as Littlewoods FC coughed up the £1 million without admitting any wrongdoing (as you do) surely it has to be classed as an ex-gratia payment rather than compensation. Compensation is only paid as a result of convicted or admitted wrongdoing.

If compensation has been paid by one party and accepted by the other then that agreement between the parties closes the case for the damages that were covered by that agreement.
However, the payment of compensation (a civil matter) doesn't stop criminal charges being levied or prevent a controlling body or organisation (the FA) from taking action due to a breach of rules / protocols.

Can't see this going anywhere sadly, I'd be a little more confident if the raggy press were pushing it but, maybe they see us as the biggest evil/threat so they are prepared to suck the dips cock.

Do we know it is for this hacking though?
