I don't have a pc or laptop and bought the iPad for my little girl and download all the education apps for her. Such a shame about flash though as she cannot play some of the games on her school website! Does anybody know anything about jailbreaking?
Don't do that, read the thread. There are browser apps that support flash. No need to jailbreak.

It was news to me as well.
They only support flash video. Full flash games/interaction will never be supported. Not happening.

As Robbie says, just go onto youtube and type in jailbreak.

I unpacked my ipad and within 2 hrs it was jailbroken, never had a problem in 2 yrs with it.

Going to have a go at jailbreaking it tonight, any tips on things I should defiantly not do when attempting to jailbreak it?

I'm a noob when it comes to things like this!

Err, maybe you answered your own question regarding whether you should try this or not?

Use an app that allows FLASH and you will never have to jailbreak it. Also, if you have ANY problems with it and have to take it in during the warranty period, you may have fucked yourself!

I have one for work and don't do that much on it for fun, but enough that I never have to worry about jail breaking it with the apps available!

good luck!

While jailbreaking does technically void the warranty it's nothing a simple restore can't sort. The iPhone is virtually unbrickable unless you do something very, very wrong.
