Can we rename this thread iphone(spunkfest) as the iphone 5 is unveiled later today and a lot of sheep are going to get very very excited (hence the spunkfest). Already leaking out to take you to the vinegar stroke are Earpods instead of earbuds..WOW! And a name for the new,smaller connecter will be 'Lightening' or something which will take away the pain of forking out for an adaptor or a new ipod dock.

More elongated iphone4s ..i mean iphone 5.. news as and when its teased!

Anyone can have an iphone.If you can afford £26 -£45pm your in. But i choose not to for the reasons above. Ive never even owned a sheepskin coat!

Also watch out for new Ipod touch and ipod Nano. As well as 7.85" ipad mini.

I have owned/used both and can say with some confidence that cost is not an issue for and I would have and android phone over an iphone any day.

I had to buy an ipod touch last month for my dock, I played around with it for a couple of days and it hasn't been taken off the dock since. What an overrated piece of crap.

Amazed people harp on about the HTC. Nothing special about it.

The iphone is the best phone around. It just is. But you pay for it. I have a Galaxy at the minute as it was half the cost of the iphone every month and no upfront cost - so its saved me a minimum of £550. However if all phones were the same price I'd go for an iphone every time.

My point being as you have demonstrated so fruitfully,is that anyone can get one.Anyone can get a Samsung galaxy s3,a better more usable phone,but its not as cool to have one as an iphone. Its the brand that is sold and that just shouts 'MAN UTD' phone.

Giffgaff is great just hope nothing goes wrong as all customer service is done online through forums and sometime the network has a habit of disappearing. It piggy backs O2 so is a quality sim and for a tenner unbelieavable value.

I dont really see a company with no customer service and whose service tends to disappear as unbelievable value whatever the cost.

1) Why do you need a new phone. Surely as I have found out iPhones can go on for a while. Unless you drop them (same with all phones though)

The anti-Applers are much more vocal than those wishing to get the new iPone.

Ha i know your game SWP! But to answer your question there so excited they cant speak! They dare not say anything until they get there hands on it in case it really is just like a stretched i phone4s. The word on the grapevine is the actual phone is underwhelming but stuff like imaps,a streaming imusic service and a couple of other things might make it a tad more exciting.

Any upgrade on the 4s is fine by me. Need a new one now y 4 has been in my possession a couple of years.
