I'm going to wait a little while (contract ends just after Xmas on my iPhone)

I want to see if there is going to be a stable jailbreak. Otherwise, a nice android. Not the galaxy 3 tho, it's fucking awful.

Nothing is better than the iPhone for what it does. But value for money, others can get themselves up there to rival it. Some Samsung and some HTC models do this. But still they aren't as good as the iPhone.

What do you need an iPhone to do?

HTC One X is lighter, better VGA camera, bigger screen and better processor(quad core), its only £9 dearer than an iphone with a very quick search... Technically its a better phone...

Not much. Im guessing improved camera and maybe a SIRI system that works an stops telling me I have to be in the US for that function. A battery that doesn't die after 5 minutes of use
Oh a new input port to render all other apple equipment useless (no plan at all there$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
Will tell us the screen is brighter and sharper. Charge us £400 quid and then rlease the iphone 5s 6 months later with a better camera that everyone will buy again

Pretty much spot on. The iphone 5 will be a stretched iphone4s. It will have slight enhancements and a different connector and everyone will go wow (well every fanboy) and buy it. They have had to do this to react to the demand for bigger screens but can only go to 4" so to keep the retina PPI screen. Personally theres only so much you can do with a phone. Android jellybean is an amazing upgrade and the project 'butter' that google have going is making the android experience up there with iphone. HTML 5 will now dominate the internet as flash is slowly removed from the mobile world and this will negate the advantage that android had as iphone didn`t have flash! Id have an S3 over an iphone anyday but i`m windows phone and when windows 8 comes out with multi core processors,expandable memory,bigger and easier market and HTML 5 more widely used then it will be in the game and there will be 3 players in the phone market. Give me windows and android over iphone anyday!
